What follows is a list of all the music that appeared in the standard version of Robotech episode 46: "Star Dust." Bold text denotes that this is the first appearance of that piece of music.
ADDITIONAL NOTES: This is of course the episode where we get to hear George Sullivan's rendition of "It's You," the closest Southern Cross gets to having an idol singer. Perhaps that's why George doesn't change the gender in the line "the me whose lost her heart"? More likely he's simply a lyrical purist. This is also the first time we get to actually see Bowie playing piano.
The unreleased instrumental version of "The Way to Love (Minmei Version)" is also used as background music again in this episode, not just once but twice. This time it runs longer so we get to hear a lot more of it.
This episode also includes "Alien Attack" and "(Alien Attack) Resolve" actually used back to back for the first time, reflecting the way they were made into one track on the soundtrack.
It's the little things that get ya-- notably the repeated usage of just the climactic two notes of "Intrigue" used as a Shocked-style sting in this episode. (But not the additional short repeat of the final note after a break, which could have concievably been intended to be used alone.) Took me a while to nail that one down.
