78. Ghost Town Music Guide

What follows is a list of all the music that appeared in the standard version of Robotech episode 78: "Ghost Town." Bold text denotes that this is the first appearance of that piece of music.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:  This is kind of an odd episode musically; it's one of those rare cases where most of the music used are the small "Escalations" and "Cliffhangers" cues punctuating a lot of scenes where there's otherwise no music at all. Even the longer pieces used are often cut very short for just a moment's mood before the scene changes and we're back to no music.

The big exception to that is of course "Liftoff," which gets played here in its entirety.  When I mentioned back in the notes for Separate Ways that I thought it was only used twice, I was thinking of its brief usage when the SDF-1 fails to lift off way back in Episode 2: Countdown and in this episode.  Turns out this is in fact the fifth time the piece has been used.
